I’m Steven Cantrell, the owner of Affordable Custom Websites. For more than 18 years, I’ve been building websites, initially just part-time, squeezing in projects between other work, mostly because I loved doing it.
I started with Wix back when it was still relatively basic, and I’ve stuck with it because it allows me to build clean, functional sites that look professional without costing clients a fortune.

What began as a passion project gradually gained momentum. Word-of-mouth grew. People appreciated the simple, honest approach, with no jargon and no hard sell. Just solid work that reflects their business. Over time, that part-time hobby turned into a full-time business.
Today, I work directly with small businesses, startups, and individuals who need a custom website that fits their budget and helps them grow. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all designs. Each site I build is tailored to the client’s needs, whether it’s a clean portfolio, an online storefront, or something in between.
